Sunshine Class

Ride for the Cure!

Help fight childhood Cancer!

What are Sunshine Classes?

The Sunshine Classes are specially designated classes at a horseshow where junior exhibitors can ride on behalf of children with cancer.

The Sunshine Classes are part of the Pediatric Cancer Foundation, a national 501c(3) nonprofit organization. All pledge money raised by junior exhibitors is donated to The Sunshine Project, a project of the Pediatric Cancer Foundation that works with some of the country’s leading researchers and doctors to expedite a cure for childhood cancer through innovative clinical trials.

Who is the Pediatric Cancer Foundation?

The Pediatric Cancer Foundation raises money for its program, The Sunshine Project, an innovative collaboration of some of the country’s leading researchers and doctors who have come together to combine their talents and their resources to help find a cure for childhood cancer.

Currently, the Pediatric Cancer Foundation’s Sunshine Project has two clinical trials accepting patients in hospitals throughout the country. One more clinical trial is expected to open in 2009. These clinical trials are testing drugs to help find more targeted, less toxic treatments for childhood cancer.
